The course badge was designed to educate students from San Antonio College about open educational textbooks/resources. After many redesigns, over a span of two years, it has grown to be a badge available for anyone (students, faculty, staff). It is now an advocacy tool to give a foundation component to open educational practices and resources.
Attendees of this session will be able to:- Develop a sample course map relating to the course badge.
- Describe the process of creating a course badge.
- Utilize the badge as a gateway for open advocacy.
