This session presents the design, pilot testing, and dissemination of an open tutorial that trains faculty to integrate embedded audio description (AD) into lecture capture videos. Grounded in digital accessibility and universal design principles, the tutorial positions AD as an extension of existing teaching and recording practices rather than an added burden. Beyond improving accessibility for learners with disabilities, the session argues that targeted training in accessible multimedia production can substantially enhance the overall quality, clarity, and usability of OER video content. Data from a pre–post study—including survey outcomes and think-aloud reflections—will illustrate changes in faculty knowledge, self-efficacy, and implementation intentions. The tutorial will be released as a Creative Commons–licensed OER, enabling broad reuse and adaptation.
