About me
Kim Grewe, PhD is an instructional designer and OER lead at Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA Online), where she advances open education, inclusive course design, and innovative online teaching. Her work focuses on helping faculty create asynchronous online learning experiences that center student voice, authentic engagement, and equitable access. Throughout her career, Kim has found her greatest joy in bringing people together around shared purpose—whether through OER, open pedagogy, faculty development, or collaborative course design. As a Rebus Luminary Fellow, she continues exploring how liberatory leadership invites us to lead with generosity, shared power, and the belief that lasting change grows through community.
