About me
I am a third-space academic, library professional, and researcher with a PhD in Educational Studies and 15+ years of experience across teaching, research, learning design, and academic capability building in higher education. I host the 'Stories of Openness: An Open Education Podcast', which forms part of research-by-podcast project exploring the impact of OER on learning and teaching. I am particularly interested in the relationship between open education, generative AI, and copyright, and what open resources mean for equitable access to learning. I am a co-founder of the Journal of Belonging, Identity, Language, and Diversity (J-BILD), an open-access journal based on a non-anonymized peer-mentorship model.
