Founded by Dr. Gary K. Michelson in 2010, the Michelson 20MM Foundation works through distinct grantmaking and policy initiatives to increase access and affordability in higher education. The foundation's Open Educational Resources Initiative works to eliminate the barrier of course material costs and improve student outcomes by advocating for the creation and adoption of OER. Through working in community and our Spark Grant program, 20MM continues to push for a higher education system that works for all students.
